At 21 cubic ft, the top-freezer Maytag M1TXEMMWQ is big enough for a family and only costs around $650 (current price at Home Depot). This model would fall under the “basic” category of refrigerators, but it still manages to have a decent amount of extras. It’s features include: Energy Star qualified, 2 crispers with humidity controls, adjustable tempered glass shelving, no-clean commercial duty condenser, and the M1TXEMMWQ comes with a factory installed ice-maker. Actually, that’s not a bad set of features for such an inexpensive fridge.

The big question is whether the Maytag M1TXEMMWQ has any major flaws. Well, a few users complained about it being noisy. I don’t really think it’s a problem. More often than not, if you adjust the 2 screws at the bottom of the refrigerator, the noise will go away.
