LG LSC27921ST Review

LG LSC27921ST

The LG LSC27921ST refrigerator is a beautiful stainless steel model (also available in white, black and titanium) with a spacious 26.5 cubic ft interior. The LSC27921ST is a side-by-side, and normally I’m not a big fan of this style (because they have a tendency to break), but this fridge holds it’s ground pretty well when it comes to repairs. Also, if you buy it new, it comes with a 1 year parts and labor warranty and 7 years sealed system. The LG LSC27921ST has quite a number of useful features for the the price range it’s in. They include: extra tall water & ice dispenser, Energy Star qualified, accelerated ice production, door alarm, LED temp controls, quiet operation and 7 digital sensors.

As I mentioned earlier, the LG LSC27921ST seems to have fewer customer complaints than most side-by-side refrigerator models. Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean it’s without issues. The first “problem” is that the lights on the top fridge shelf gets in the way a bit. It’s not a huge issue I guess, but it’s still a little annoying that you can only fit short items on that shelf area. The stainless steel model, like any appliance made of this metal, is always going to need cleaning. Fingerprints and dirt show up quite easily on the LSC27921ST. Some people have also had problems with the ice dispenser (like the dispenser getting stuck, only dispensing crushed ice, and the ice box only getting filled half-way). Other than those issues, I haven’t come across many complaints at all. You can purchase this refrigerator for right around $1,350. I’m giving it a 4/5 star rating - I think it’s a great buy for a decent price.
