LG LFX28978ST Review

LG LFX28978ST

Our LG LFX28978ST review: The 27.6 cubic ft french door LG LFX28978ST refrigerator is big, stylish and full of great features. The stainless steel exterior is very high quality, and looks gorgeous. This model does have a lot of features besides just its looks. Here are a few of the most prominent features: tall ice and water dispeners, linear compressor (helps with noise, energy consumption and durability), accelerated ice freezer, six door bins, premium LED interior lighting, Energy Star qualified, full width Glide N’ Serve drawer, spill-proof tempered glass shelves, and even a folding shelf. The hidden hinges and contoured doors add to the sleek and stylish look of this fridge.

As with most high-end models, the LG LFX28978ST refrigerator is fairly expensive - currently around $2,200. There are definitely a lot more expensive fridges out there, so I’m not going to hold that against it. While the bright LED lights are wonderful, it would have been nice if they turned on gradually. They are a bit blinding in the middle of the night. Also, it would be nice to have the actual exterior buttons have lights on them, not just above them. There really isn’t a lot to complain about on the LG LFX28978ST. Even the price is reasonable for what you get. I’m giving this refrigerator a 4.5/5 star rating.
