The KitchenAid KSRV22FVWH refrigerator is a side by side model, with 21.7 cubic ft of space. The all-white exterior would probably match some kitchen decor’s better than others. In this review of the KitchenAid KSRV22FVWH fridge, I’ll go over this model’s strengths and weaknesses, then decide if it’s worth the nearly $1,300 price. Here’s what you can expect, as far as features go: exterior water and ice dispenser, clear gallon door bins, an LCD dispenser display, RollerTrac crisper and meat pan, PuR water filter, in-door ice dispensing system, slide-out glass shelves, and it’s Energy Star qualified. To be honest, I’m not overly impressed by this feature set. I know this refrigerator has the basics covered, but there really isn’t a lot that sets it apart from the competition. This is especially true at this price level. However, the LCD display on the exterior is a nice touch.
Now, onto the negative aspects of the KitchenAid KSRV22FVWH refrigerator. For one thing, I think it’s a little noisier than a lot of the competition. Another issue I have with this unit is that the freezer side is way too small. To me, it seems like it’s much smaller than ordinary side-by-sides. And, this problem is only magnified since it’s a pretty small model to begin with. Last issue I have with this model is that the price is a little on the high side – especially when you compare it to similar 21 cubic ft models. While there are a few issues with the KitchenAid KSRV22FVWH, I still think it’s a decent refrigerator. It definitely looks nice, and even though the features are kind of average, I think the build quality is great. Overall, I would have to give this model a 3.8 / 5 star rating.
