In this review I’ll go over the Hotpoint HTM18IBPSA fridge’s positive and negative aspects and then give the final verdict of whether it’s worth the money. The silver metallic exterior looks nice, but I still prefer actual stainless steel. A few of its other features include: illuminated slimline temperature controls, NeverClean condenser, deluxe quiet design, gallon door storage, adjustable glass shelving, and rounded doors. An ice-maker is optional, which is a fairly common practice when buying a top freezer refrigerator.

The current price of the Hotpoint HTM18IBPSA refrigerator is $860. For this style of fridge and size, it’s a pretty typical price. Unfortunately, this model does have a few negative aspects to it. The first is that it’s not Energy Star qualified - which is not a huge deal, but it does mean you’ll pay more in the long run. A few other things I don’t like: the shelves are not spill-proof, there is no water filter for the ice maker, the door is not reversible, and the door storage is not adjustable. A few of those problems are not really deal breakers by themselves. However, put all together, I cannot give the Hotpoint HTM18IBPSA refrigerator very high ratings. I’m giving this model a 3.8/5 star rating.
