The GE GTH21SCXSS refrigerator is a top freezer model with 21 cubic ft of space. The stainless steel exterior gives this model a nice touch. In this review of the GE GTH21SCXSS fridge, I’ll go over this model’s strengths and weaknesses, then decide if it’s worth buying. First off, it’s always nice when you find a smaller unit that still has the elegance of a higher-end stainless steel model. But beyond the physical exterior, here’s a rundown of the features you’ll find on board: humidity controlled crispers, snack pan, factory-installed ice maker, adjustable and spill resistant glass shelves, gallon door storage, illuminated temperature controls, and it’s also Energy Star qualified. With a nearly $1,000 price tag, you would expect that this refrigerator have some quality features – and for the most part, it delivers on that expectation.
OK, onto the negative aspects of the GE GTH21SCXSS refrigerator. While I really enjoy having the ice maker, it can be noisy at times. It also takes up some valuable space in the freezer, and can make it feel a little cramped. Another thing I don’t like is that there is no light in the freezer. Also, I wish the door bins were adjustable. All in all, I do still like the GE GTH21SCXSS refrigerator. It’s probably a little pricey for what you get, but not unreasonable. Even with it’s issues, I’m giving it a 4.2 / 5 star rating.
