GE GSH25JSXSS Review

GE GSH25JSXSS

Our GE GSH25JSXSS review: With exactly 25 cubic ft of space, the GE GSH25JSXSS refrigerator is a decent sized side-by-side model. It also has a good amount of features for a fridge that is just over $1,000. The stainless steel is nice, and contrasts well with the black accents. A few of it’s most prominent features include: external temp controls and child lock, external water and ice dispensers, adjustable temperature deli drawer, deluxe quiet design, auto energy saver, adjustable gallon door bins, spill-proof glass shelves, and a water filtration system. Another neat feature is FrostGuard. Basically, it protects your frozen items from unnecessary defrosting (freezer burn). It’s also Energy Star qualified, which should help save a few bucks in the long run.

The problems with the GE GSH25JSXSS refrigerator seem to be few. Quite a number of users complain about how tough the plastic wrapping is to take off, after you first purchase it. It’s not a huge problem, more of an annoyance. The second issue is that there is no water seal between the dispenser tray and the fridge, which allows water to leak down the refrigerator. Of course, with any stainless steel model you’ll have to wipe it down constantly to keep it looking clean. The last minor complaint I have about the GE GSH25JSXSS refrigerator is that the front side of the door is not magnetic. So, we’ve got a lot of smaller problems, but all the reviews I’ve read have not mentioned any major problems - so that’s a good thing. For the price, you really can’t find much cheaper of a stainless steel model. I’m giving this fridge a 4/5 star rating.
