GE GFSS6KEXSS Review

GE GFSS6KEXSS

The GE GFSS6KEXSS refrigerator is a 25.8 cubic ft, french door model. The stainless steel exterior of the GE GFSS6KEXSS is sleek and modern looking. The contoured doors and hidden hinges give it a very classy look. A few other features you’ll find on the GE GFSS6KEXSS are: GE Reveal lighting, dual evaporators to maintain high humidity for fresh foods, Upfront Temp controls with actual temperature, ice maker with water filtration system, Spillproof glass shelves, secure door close system, and it’s also a deluxe quiet design. The space on this fridge is arranged very well. To me, it seems more like a 27 or 28 cubic ft model.

The main issue I have with the GE GFSS6KEXSS refrigerator is the quality of the indoor drawers. Some users complain that the crisper drawers fall of their tracks if you use them a lot. They look great and have some nice temperature features, but I just wish the quality was better. Also, fingerprints are going to show on the exterior. There really isn’t a way around that problem - just like any stainless steel model. In my opinion, the price is just a tad high for what you get (currently around $1,700). But don’t get me wrong, the GE GFSS6KEXSS is still a very nice refrigerator. Even with those issues, I’m giving this model a 3.8/5 star rating.
