Electrolux EW23BC71IB Review

Electrolux EW23BC71IB

Our Electrolux EW23BC71IB review: The 22.6 cubic ft, french door Electrolux EW23BC71IB refrigerator is a deep black colored model with a good amount of features. It also costs a pretty penny (currently $3,300), so we’ll take a look at all the features to see if it’s actually worth the money. On board this fridge you’ll find: 4 luxury design glass shelves, external water and ice dispensers, an ice-maker which can produce a whopping 9 lbs of bullet shaped ice in 24 hours, perfect temp drawer with 9 preset modes, 3 luxury-glide freezer baskets, PureAdvantage water filter and air filter, and wave-touch controls. I have to admit, the wave-touch controls are a pretty neat, high-tech addition.

Now I’ll go over the potential negatives of the Electrolux EW23BC71IB refrigerator. The first is the price, no question about it. At this price level, you could get a good 28 or 29 cubic ft fridge. The features are definitely cool and very useful, but I’m not sure they are cool enough to justify $3,300. The other more petty issue I have with this model is the shelves. They look spectacular, but I’m not sure they are the most spill-proof shelving available. Also, it would have been nice to have the dispenser be slightly taller. I would probably give the Electrolux EW23BC71IB our highest rating, except for the price. For that reason, I can only give it 4.5/5 stars.
