Finding the best refrigerator for the money doesn’t have to be difficult anymore. I’ve found two of the best refrigerators for the money – both models are $1000 or less, and provide the best bang for the buck. They both have their benefits, and of course their drawbacks. Here they are:
The first refrigerator is the Hotpoint HSS25GFTWW. It’s the more expensive of the two, at around $1000. But that still puts it on the low end, as far as new refrigerators go. It has a roomy 25 cubic foot interior, and is a side-by-side model. There are some nice features – such as the through-the-door ice and water dispensers, and water filter. Also, there are a few extra features such as the exterior temperature reader and control buttons. I think the roomy interior will really surprise you, it’s probably the top selling point.
The second best refrigerator for the money is the Kenmore 74192. It is a top-freezer design, which a lot of customers prefer. This model only costs around $600 – a good deal cheaper than the Hotpoint fridge. Now, don’t expect a lot of extra features on this Kenmore, just the basics. However, it does include an icemaker, standard. It also has glass shelves and two humidity controlled crispers. Noise level is a little higher than average. However, without many gadgets or extra features, the 74192 model should last you many years.
