Americana A3316ABSBB and Americana A3316ABSWW Review

Americana A3316ABSBB A3316ABSWW

Here’s my Americana A3316ABSBB / Americana A3316ABSWW review: I’m reviewing both of these refrigerator models together since the only difference is the color (the first is black and the second is white). The Americana refrigerator brand is sold exclusively at Home Depot, and is actually manufactured by GE. The $400 price tag is what draws most people to this particular model, even though they only have 15.6 cubic ft of space. And, I must say that it’s still a bargain for that price.

There are a couple things that I am not particularly fond of though. First off, the Americana A3316ABSBB and A3316ABSWW refrigerators do not come with a butter shelf door. I know it’s a cheaper model and you won’t get a lot of “extras”, but I don’t understand why they consider this an extra. Also, some users say it’s a little loud. It would be fine for garage use, but be prepared for some noise if you have it indoors. Lastly, the freezer does not have a shelf.

Other than those few issues, the Americana A3316ABSWW and A3316ABSBB are some of the best refrigerators under $500 you can find. I think the price, combined with the classy style and functionality, earn this fridge a 4/5 star rating.
