The Amana Quick Tap refrigerator is definitely innovative. In the center of the refrigerator is a dispenser - but, this is no ordinary water dispenser, it allows you to fill up the cooling container inside with whatever beverage you like. If you so choose, the Amana Quick Tap refrigerator could potentially dispense KoolAid, soda or even chilled wine. The interior is only 17.5 cubic ft, so it’s not a very big fridge by any means. It does come loaded with a child lock, wine rack, adjustable glass shelves, 2 crisper drawers, and a gallon door storage.

The Amana Quick Tap refrigerator comes in two different colors: Red (A8WXNGFWH) and Silver (A8WXNGFWD). The retail price is $800, so it’s really not that expensive. I’m really not sure what to make of this new refrigerator. It’s pretty cool, but it almost seems like a novelty item which would get boring after a couple months use. Also, I would have liked to see a built-in ice maker included (ice maker is sold separately) - especially since the dispenser is the main selling point. However, at $800 the Amana Quick Tap is still a bargain refrigerator.
