Our Amana ASD2522WRB review: At just over 25 cubic ft, the Amana ASD2522WRB refrigerator is just about as big of a fridge as you’re going to get for $800 (current price and Home Depot). And actually, this model is not just about space, it has some pretty decent features as well. A couple of its most notable features are: Energy Star qualified, 3 spill-proof glass shelves, control lockout, through-the-door water and ice dispensers, gallon door bins, sealed crisper drawer, and a slide-out freezer basket. The black exterior gives it a sleek and modern look.

Unfortunately, there are a couple complaints for the Amana ASD2522WRB refrigerator. Some users complain about the ice maker being too loud. I can understand where they are coming from, but most competitor models are loud as well. Another common complaint was that the Amana ASD2522WRB is lacking a meat/cheese drawer. It would have been a nice addition to this refrigerator. A couple other things: the water is not chilled when it comes out, and it would have been nice to have a little larger freezer shelves. I also came across a few buyers who had problems with it breaking down. I know it was probably a fluke, but just beware that side-by-side fridges do tend to break down easier than other styles. Overall, I think this model is a good buy. It has a few issues, but for the amount of features it has and the low price tag, I’m giving the ASD2522WRB a 4/5 star rating.
